Precise Load

Are you a hunter or sport shooter who wants to make your own cartridges with Reload Swiss propellants? Then the Precise Load software can help you—right in your browser and without installation.

Precise Load allows you to simulate your own loadings, i.e., recipes. Users can calculate the gas pressure, muzzle velocity, and bullet energy. In addition, they can use the integrated external ballistics calculator to determine the trajectory, velocity, and energy of the bullet over distance.

The Precise Load database includes numerous calibres and bullets from various manufacturers. The software can be used on PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones and is continuously being expanded.

The challenge with simulations is always whether they stand up to scrutiny in reality. The accuracy of Precise Load's simulations has been verified with 8,500 measurement data sets. The results showed that at maximum pressure, the deviation was less than 290 bar in more than two-thirds of cases, and at speed, the deviation was less than 26 m/s in more than two-thirds of cases.

With the integrated Bullet Measurement Tool, users can precisely measure their own projectiles and add them to the database.
